While not familiar with that particular bike, I did however go to their web site and it looks like a lot of other touring bikes out there. It's triple butted cromo frame which is good, it has Shimano Deore rear and a Sora front which in reality you need the better (Deore) on the rear because the front doesn't require the precession as the rear and their less likely to break. Having all Shimano stuff is good if your touring because their stuff is found at any bike shop thus replacements are fast and cheap.
If you've been looking for a touring bike, and know what they cost, and what their equipped with, and you feel this is a good deal then go for it.
