Anyone have any thoughts on Opus bikes, I am new to cycle world and have just recently heard of this brand. Can someone please tell me if they make good bikes. I was looking at a Trek 1200 or something in that range, and thought I might give Opus bikes a look, just waiting some input from you on this brand

A guy who used to do club rides around here had one, a good-looking but somewhat glitzy full composite (I believe) with DA. Definitely had high bling factor. Never looked at it up close and meant to talk with the guy about it, but he seemed to disappear. He was a good, apparently experienced rider, I'd guess he knew what he was doing. Do you have one in an LBS, can you ride it? Nothing on www.roadbikereview.com -- tell us what you find out...
