  1. Hi all,

here is the file from a race I did yesterday (powertap sl). The race was a little less than 20 km, starting with a steep hill, then a little flat, a second hill, some flat and a third very steep hill. Almost no downhill.

I felt pretty well and I was definitely pushing to the limit, so I would like to use this to get an estimate of my FTP.
I'm very surprised by the high heartrate, when I'm training I rarely go over 175, here I did 45' at 177 average!

    Some opinions from the experts?

    TIA

    Francesco

p.s.1: Before someone asks, yes I crashed quite badly during the final sprint over the finish line, that's why the speed goes from 25km/h to 0 in a second

    p.s.2: I'm 68 kg, 24 years old.

  2. I can't use CP while at work, but I'd say somewhere between 330-340w would be a no-brainer. It could even be a few watts higher based on that sprint at the end, but that's just a guess. What's that first 1.5 minutes, warmup? The NP for the period starting at minute 2 will give you a good idea of your FT, IMO. Nice ride!

  3. In fact during the first 2 minutes the race was neutralized.
    Thanks for your view!
