... looking at bidding on this frame via ebay - it is listed as being a 2004 Specialized Allez E5 SLX. I googled a little and have read where there ~may~ be issues with the integrated headset. Just wondering if any of you guys in here have ever used / do use one and what your experience has been with it. Link to the frame below (will probably wrap)

It's a used frame, and thus carries no warranty whatsoever. Keep that in mind; the extreme devaluation in worth of a used frame from a major manufacturer, where the included warranty is void on a used frame, is not a minor issue. Many euro frames have no warranty to speak of in the first place, so it's no big deal. But part of what you're paying for (when purchased new) is the peace of mind that comes from having a very solid warranty, at least from many of the big-name companies. You don't get that with a used frame; something goes wrong that shouldn't have, you have no recourse.
