  1. I just Googled for the subject of my previous post and found several
    comments by Sheldon and Jobst and Mr. Habanero. So there. I gather
    that it doesn't matter. But ya know, being stubborn, someday I'm just
    going to have to ride bikes that are similar but for the BB height and
    decide for myself!

    FWIW, some track frames come in pursuit and sprint versions which are
    identical except for a difference of 20mm in BB height, with the
    sprint bikes being higher. Almost certainly done this way to allow
    sprinters to ride slowly on the steep part of the banking without
    grounding the outside pedal
