    A reader requested a recipe for onion rings.

    Onion Rings

    pancake batter onion rings oil for frying

    The BEST batter you can make is pancake batter. Pat the
    onions dry and dip in your favorite pancake batter and then
    drop into hot oil to fry. This was a "secret" recipe for a
    well-known barbecue place in South Carolina - at least it
    was a secret until it was found out! Lisa
