  1. I've just finished reading One More Horizon by Scott
Zamek. Basically it's about the trials and tribulations of
guy with wanderlust who uses a bicycle so he can more
fully experience the trip. The subtitle is Ohio to Hong
Kong the Long Way which gives an idea of just how epic
    this journey was.

I recommend it as it's easy, pleasant reading. The author
has a poetic style that I liked, but I could see how some
might find it a little forced. There is no "moral of the
story" at the end, but overall it did inspire me to consider
a trip of slightly more epic proportions than I've done in
the past. Like maybe 2 weeks instead of 4 days. Scott's
    Journey was about 2 years.

I became aware of the book because the author shops where my
wife works. He rides his bike to the store. I don't think he
owns a car. My wife mentioned that I also ride and he told
her about his book. I haven't met the author, but I do have
an autographed copy thanks to my wife.

Ride on, enjoy the journey, Don
