one foot riding

before anyone tells me to use the "search," i already did. i didn't find
what i need.
most of the threads that i found are about how to improve on being able
to ride for about 5 pedal revs.
i want to know how to start learning. every time i even try to take my
foot off the pedal my other foot gets stuck with pedals at 12 and 6
(dead position?) and i fly off. any recomendations about how to go
about learning?
