How fast did this HPV go:

Someone a few years back complained about a streamliner discussion on
this newsgroup, since most of the contributors were not involved in
setting speed records!

Mr. Guy Chapman would prefer to go and on about helmets. There is another
character on the BC cycling group who goes by the name of Disco Duck who
also likes to go on and on about helmets. Both of these guys have stupid
monikers, "Just zis Guy, you know?" and "Disco Duck". Doesn't that just
about tell you everything you will ever want to know about them.

Disco Duck advocates breaking the law by not wearing helmet. So far as I
know, Guy has not gone that far. If he does, I will be here for him. The
laws are about a thousand times more important than what any individual
might think about them.

There is no doubt in my mind that both Disco Duck and Guy know a lot about
the safety issue with respect to helmets, but so what? Work to get the laws
changed if you must, but do not advocate breaking the laws. I am a law and
order man and I am death on law breakers.
