  1. Is it me, Southern California Time Warner, or
    OLN?

For the last two weeks of the Tour de France
the live(?) morning coverage is garbage.
That is the sound continually breaks up as
does the picture. Some times the picture is
like a still mosaic, and there is no sound at
    all...

It's very aggravating to get up early to
watch the race, and the feed is
    unwatchable...

    Cheers, Tp

No problems on T-W in San Diego. (The technology hiccups from time to
time -- satellites, electrical storms and interference, etc. -- but the
    coverage itself comes through fine.)

I've seen this problem while watching it on the east coast also but
the only portions where that has happened has been from the camera's
out on the field. Phil's voice did do weird things but all of this is
probably due to the lousy weather they've been having.

Also remember that OLN doesn't control the camera's. I recall Phil and
Paul not being happy with the camera's focus the country side,
buildings and other 'points of interest' when things were getting
    interesting in the race.

That's known as tiling and it's a problem with the cable usually caused by
a low signal and/or problems with your digital box. If you do not
have a digital box, then it's just the signal.

If you have a digital box, take it in and exchange it. If not
a tech needs to come out and find out what your signal levels are
and make any corrections to boost them. Too many tv's in the house
may also cause low signal which would require an in-house amp.
