Ramona Trinidad Jordan, who was officially recgnized as the world's
oldest living person, died of pneumonia last Saturday according to her
family at age 114, three months short of turning 115.
She was born in 1889 in Puerto Rico while it was still a Spanish colony.
The recrded secret of her success? According to a great-nephew, "She
lived an easy life---easy in the sense that she didn't have too much to
worry about." Her husband, who died 30 years previously, was a bank
manager & they never had any children.
Oh yes, she always enjoyed a beer with her meals. No mention whether it
was a Guinness though.
