You can replace the rim with a SUN 700c CR18 rim ... the ERD is 612. My observation (someone may want to confirm or correct this) is that the numerical value on SUN rims is the bead-to-bead, so the SUN 700c CR18 is effectively a 622-18.

There were a lot of other rims that are about as wide as your old rims ... my UKAI rims are 622-17.

Most of the commonly available MAVIC rims are 622-15 (e.g., Open Pro, CXP-21/etc.), but a few are 622-13 (e.g., CXP-14, CXP-30). Most of the commonly available rims have a smaller ERD than the older rims (e.g., ~605 for an Open Pro rim) ... so, they are laced with shorter spokes.

Current Ambrosio & Rigida rims tend to be 622-13.

I know someone who regularly mounted his 700x30 Cyclocross tires on 622-15 rims ...

If you aren't using "fat" tires (i.e., larger than 700x28), you can easily switch to almost any contemporary rim.

Keep your eye on the side of the road in suburban areas on rubbish collection night, or else visit the local tip. A good bike store probably has a few old wheels sitting around, or can tell you who does.
