1. I have an old kas jersey (1980-1988??) that im thinking of putting up on ebay to see how much i can get for it. its looks like a french national champions jersey. im just wondering if anyone knows what french rider(s) in the team would have won the french national championships????

  2. Probably Jean Claude Leclercq.

He won the French National Championship in 1985. He was a good rider, but not a great star of this sport. He also won 2 stages in Tour of Switzerland (1986 and 1988, also he wore the leader maillot in this race), a stage in Trofeo Joaquim Agostinho (1985), other stage in Tour de Limousin (1984) and probably his best victory was the Fleche Wallone in 1987 (also in this race he was 2ª in 1986 and 3ª in 1990).

He was in Kas during 1986. He was proffesional during 10 years, in the following teams: Skil (France), Kas (Spain), Toshiba (France), Weinmann (Switzerland), Helvetia (Switzerland) and Jolly (Italy).

In last years, he has been working with the Swiss National Federation. I have seen him with the Women National Team in some races. Also he works like a comentarist of cycling in the Swiss TV.
