  1. I recently posted a q about the Specialized s-store location.

I seem to have found it, and already had, but unless you ask for the USA region, there are no prices or way to buy. If I ask for the USA location, ther e_are_ prices and an Add to Cart, but then I am not allowed to live outside the USA.

So is the only way to either buy from the LBS (rotten range and high prices) or risk losing the warranty (which for Armadillo stuff is lifetime, right?)

Anyone outside the USA know about this?

    Thanks for any help.

  2. we have a great bike shop here that stocks all sorts of brands including specialized.

although there is no way for them to display thier entire product range you can request a test ride and they will get the bike you want from thier dealer network.

they can get any of the 2006 range if you are willing to wait a couple of week for them to order it in.

i am sure it is the same with specialized dealers in the US.

    I live in Australia.

In the US, I can buy from the Specialized online store, but yes, they have plenty of dealers. My local dealers will charge me like wounded bulls and have an apalling range.

I actually only want four tyres at the moment. But I sure as heck would not get a shop to order in a bike of the price and quality of Specalized, unless I had tried it first.
