  1. The Sun is now low enough to spend a few hours out cycling
    bare limbed, so I'm off out for a ride. At 1630 the added
    bonus is that the city's bus lanes will come into operation,
    meaning I can get into smug git mode (copyright 2003) and
    bike past hundreds of static cars in sweltering heat slowly
    inching their way forward. Cruel perhaps, but one or two
    might be inspired to join our ranks, so it's for their own
    good if they can only but see it ;-)
