the photo. I must have stared at the damned thing for ten
minutes now, and I still fail to see what was so
intimidating about the move. Sure, it looks a little tricky,
but not outrageously so. A little steep, but not too bad. My
very limited experience with Utah sandstone leads me to
believe that as long as he didn't actually drop a tire off
the side of the rock, he wasn't going to slide out at all.
I'm not saying that you can't slide on the stuff, but it
would take a lot of work.

In other words, it's a great photo, and looks like a plenty
fun ride, but well within the realm of what I've seen Pete
ride in his videos, and well within the realm of what I
would ride if I were there.

To me it LOOKS like the slam could be 3-4 feet below where
he's rolling. I've done enough damage going OTB, adding a
few feet's gonna break even more parts. I've never had as
spectacular a crash as yours, but I have needed months of PT
(Oh, and stitches, lots of stitches)
