I just have to share this:
Yesterday I did a twenty mile ride in the hills of South Wales ( UK ) on a Hase Kettwiesel RIDE.
Nearly 1000 feet of climbing, and as many of descent  😄
What a blast. This bike is built with BMX rims and has a differential.
TWO powered wheels. This means that major hill climbs including really gnarly sections of rock strewn singletrack are accessible and even fun. The flatter uphill sections you can power up through.
Loose gravel and rocks? Not a problem.
And downhill!! oh my days!! You can twitch your hips and set up 3-wheel drifts to help get you round corners.
The worst section was returning along the vally bottom at the side of this beautiful Salmon river ( the Wye Valley ) cos the trail is just long-grass, and not a trail at all. And mostly overgrown with brambles full of thorns. The kind where even the horses walk on tiptoes.
I dont want to work today.
I want to go and ride this recumbent trike off-road!
Thanks for listening, its good to share!!
The 20" wheel is king!
