  1. Hi All,

I'm looking to do an off-road (as much as possible) coast to
coast in June/July. Can anyone suggest routes?

    Thanks - Adam...

You can buy the guide book to the main off-road route (there
are many variants as you might expect)
    mbruk.co.ukmbruk coast.html

There's supposed to be a good one Fort William to
Montrose, but I haven't tried it (yet). Virtually all off-
road, and across the Cairngorm plateau.

"Cairngorm plateau" as in "3000' + Cairngorm plateau"? Do
you know any more specific route details?

  4. Hi Adam

Yes, there is a very good book called Coast to Coast by
published under the name Wheelwright. You may be able to
get it from Amazon. We did it a few years ago - excellent
route. I still have the scars!
