Has anyone here had any involvement with overeaters anonymous? If so,
would you be willing to share your opinions of using a 12 step program
to stop overeating? Thanks for any info.

They tear down your self esteem, make you feel like a piece of [censored],
then try to build you back up again.Over-eating was never my problem.
The problem was _what_.It's really not alwways how much you eat, but _what_ you eat that makes
you obese especially if you are (undiagnosed) hypo-thyroid and insulin
resistant.Education is more important than will power. :-P
Will power comes after you learn what sets off bad eating patterns and
compulsive eating. The high grain/starchy diet that is shoved down our
throat by the food pyramids.
