Hi, Im in the process of restoring an early moped and have no luck finding
tyres.
they are 2.25 X 14 inch 4 ply.
I have tried our local (rural) bikeshop and the only thing they have listed
is a "BMX" tread type and I need a road tread.
Anyone got any ideas where I could find or is there a large pushbike type
store that specialises in tyres I could try?

It might be worth seeing what Greenspeed (ferntree Gully, Vic.) might have for their various recumbents. Google them, they send out their price lists and can do 'mail' order.
