I'm a newbie and wondering if I'm going to notice a mjor difference in the two?? I don't want the OCR3 since it's such a cheapo group set, but are the 1 and 2 that different?

I got the OCR 2 and it is a major improvement over the 3. From what I hear, even though the OCR 1 has better components if you plan on upgrading you'll have to upgrade the whole group unless you go with the OCR 2 which components can be individually upgraded. I went with the OCR 2.

OCR 1- you won't regret the carbon fiber fork (which really does soak up bumps) and the Ultegra rear der., or the clipless pedals and better crankset...I promise it's worth the $200. I have heard that the breaks are a little shaky though- you may want to consider that as a "right out of the box" necessary upgrade. I ride a Cypress SL- its basically an OCR1 with a flat bar, and it is that love of my life

Just what I was looking for thanks guys.
