1. Hey,

Just a quick question that i am hoping you clever bicycle folk can answer.

I have just bought a new OCR 3 (2006) and would like to replace the tyres with some sexy Conti Grand Prix 4000s. This is where i am encountering a problem.

The OCR 3 has 700x25c tyres on at the moment. Is it possible to replace these with 700x23c? Would they fit? I am asking this because there seems to be a huge range of 700x23c tyres hut not many 700x25c (plus they come in many hallucinogenic colours).

    Many Thanks for your help

    David

  2. There will be no problems fitting a 700x23c tyre to your existing rim. I'm grabbing some of the GP4000's as well. Check out this link. I'm going to ship mine in from the UK cause they're cheaper. If you buy a few items, the shipping becomes less of a problem.

  3. Agree with #2, there will be no problem with 23s

The GP4000 is a great tyre by the way

Also check out this link and remember to add on P&P when working out prices

  4. I have 4 of th 23s on order, 2 700s in the sexy blue for the blue Felt and 2 650s in black (no other choice) for the wheeler. I will give my old 700x25s to another Felt (SR 101) owner... 🙂 he has 28s.

  5. Many Thanks. I will go and order some now. So many colours, so little time.
