So why didn't those guys do that back then when they went for and broke
the records? I guess that would be a question for them.

'cuz it was ok to dope back then, the drugs weren't as good as they are
now. The old drugs were just to take the edge off, or to increase
motivation.

The people of the days of yore were as pure as the driven snow. Only today's
hero's are dopers.

Go back and look at why Obree didn't take up the contract he was offered
with a Euro team.

how about the hour record-without doping,
and the two hour record-with doping.

And if you don't believe that just ask Brian.

Asshole, Eddy did test positive. As you both know, EPO and blood boosting
have increased rider performance by a far greater percentage than the drugs
of Merckx's era. Merckx was great for many reasons; e.g.. natural ability
and a system in which support riders were purely there to support the team
leader. And a great as Merckx was, you are an even greater Asshole.

That his claim. Not as pure as the driven snow, Asshole.

You don't seem to have any trouble believing in two anonymous "ex-pros" in a
magazine article. Hearing Eddy expressing great anger at his positives
should be a bit more convincing than that.

Now read this carefully, Asshole. Nowhere have I stated that I believe
Riders #1 and #2. I suggest that you go back over the thread after your
lithium kicks in and you will, I repeat, WILL, read nothing that would
indicate that I "believe" these two pros. I agree with Bill Crowther that
these pros and anyone else with knowledge of doping should stand up in
public, as Decanio has, and tell what they know. Let their statements be
investigated thoroughly.

Now, slink back into your cum stained bedroom and look for those meds,
Asshole.

Nah, you just brought it to everyone's attention with the same sort of
tactics as a British Pointer who spots a pigeon on the ground. Doesn't mean
a thing. Has nothing at all to with the the Lafferty Agenda:

1) Everyone dopes but me
2) Any negative publicity re doping in cycling must be immediately
publicized no matter HOW unlikely.
3) Anyone that says that all bicyclists dope must be telling the truth
4) Anyone that says that while some people in bicycle racing might use drugs
but they don't must be lying.
5) Never admit that you're biased.

But hey, that's just my opinion. Ask anyone else here for theirs.

Could there ever be another more crystal clear case that Brian has drugs on
his mind and nothing else?

Here's a clue Brian, the only "meds" I take are vitamins. To you that
probably means rEPO and hGH and steroids. But then you're one of those guys
who can't go a day without a marijuana joint huh?

Yeah, they "should." The world is full of shoulds. You need a carrot and a
stick to do the job, and you, nor anyone else, has a big enough carrot or a big
enough stick.
