I think that's why they are still popular - you can easily pop the
lenses out and change to suit the light conditions. Also, the five
different lens shapes available will fit any shape face.

I tend to wear a clear "sweep" lens a lot, but also have orange
("persimmon"😉 for overcast days, blue iridium for brighter days and
black iridium for skiing or arc welding ;-)

Yes, I know they are ludicrously expensive, but they seem to last
pretty well and they stay in place on your face without slipping down
your nose when you build up a sweat.

No doubt there are cheaper alternatives, but I haven't tried them so I
won't comment.

I have - and love - M-Frames, and if I ever broke them I'd probably go
out and get another pair. I don't fool myself that they're anything
remotely approaching value for money, I'm just a fashion victim.
They are light, comfortable, stylish, and exceedingly effective at
keeping drafts, bugs and dust out of your eyes; but then so are £10
rip-off copies.
