I've followed this thread with interest & much of what Dagger says particularly his original
posting as above are irrefutably correct. In fact he goes on to say many things that too many of us
have been afraid to air openly, in some ways this is quite refreshing & should be welcomed in AST &
he should not castigated for it.

    .........

I, too, do *not* believe that Dagger should be castigated for presenting his opinions. If people do
not express a variety of opinions, we cannot have meaningful discussion.

I do very much believe that Dagger should be castigated for expressing those opinions in such a
clearly, purposefully, and unmistakably offensive and insulting manner - - as should I be castigated
for my gut reaction in calling him a selfish [censored].

But please hear me out. Tinnitus - no matter how severe and no matter how intrusive - while a
legitimate reason to be truly miserable ... is NO REASON to act in such a rude offensive fashion as
has Dagger repeated done over the past several days. When I said that Dagger made his bed and he can
now sleep in it, I was most certainly not referring to the bed of misery that his tinnitus brings
... I was referring to how his attitude towards others (he named several) unnecessarily compounds
that misery. If he would but direct his efforts in a productive manner instead of a destructive one
... all would benefit, Dagger most of all.

It is possible to express frustration - to shout from the cyber rooftops - without the personal
    insults and vitriol.
