  1. Hi
I am in the process of trying to compile a nutrition database of all food
products. This is raw foods, and also processed and packaged foods also.

I am also trying to cover products available in UK, US and european markets.

Does anyone know if this information is available anywhere, perhaps books,
    website etc etc??

    Any help appreciated

    Thanks

    Paul

The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture maintains such a database:
    http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/

  3. Just our of couriousity, why?

Unless you have a staff, it will be nearly impossible to keep up to date.
And unless it is up-to-date, it could provide inaccurate info, which is
    worse than useless.

    Jeff
