Not at buc?

Me, although I /can/ pass on some news from BUC, having spoken to
Richard Loxley this afternoon. A West Country hockey team was put
together (including Richard, Paul Selwood and Sarah Miller IIRC) which
trounced the Lunis 4-1 to win a place in the final. The final hadn't
yet been played when I spoke to Richard, so I dunno how that went.

Yeah, in 'this thread' (http://tinyurl.com/2p2dr) you told us about all
the things that you were planning to do like riding off a roof,
streaking on the unicycle, and I believe a 16' drop was mentioned?
So anyhoo, how much off it actually happened in the end? (that you can
remember)

Has a time and a place been set for next year yet? I'm *definitely*
going then... well, hopefully!

We went on to win the final against Stockton (6-1 IIRC).

The team was (in alphabetical order - no captain):

Leo White
Paul Selwood
Peter Haworth
Richard Loxley
Sarah Miller

It was great hockey. Although we haven't practised as a team,
we somehow gelled together after our first game (which was a 2-2
draw against Stockton). It's a very long time since I felt a team
working so well together, just a single unit working as one. I was
on a high all day!

So I have the privilege of being on the winning team in 2000, 2001
and 2004 :)

PS. Great convention, BTW.
