  1. I'm not around Usenet much at the moment, due to a surfeit of RL. So
don't worry if you don't see me for a week at a time, I've not been
flattened by a bus (not yet anyway)

Your name was mentioned today on the Alan Furley Memorial ride.

There I was gently expiring in a corner of Faccombe Hall when one of
the Reading CTC helpers, who was chatting to another rider, said what
a pleasure it was to Guy and his two boys on as ride and what
excellent road sense they have and how well behaved they are.

Two house points and a gold star I reckon.

Wot Tim said - I was there too and I think my legs still are.

About the only thing which amused my tiny mind on that ride was the fact of
having a control located at Fack 'em all.

I think there also were one or two zippy descents that stirred up the
Larrington brain cells. Once again I looked over my shoulder to see
    that I had /almost/ been caught by a fast-descending Trice. :-)

It was a tough route all right. Good to meet you at last, Tim.
