  1. This is not a question of whether this saddle is good, I am just asking opinions of those who have ridden selle italia flight gel seats. Would you buy them again, or how do they compare with your other seats. I just bought a new Trek 5.2 and its a Bontrager Seat, and it has no anatomical cutout. I used to ride one, but I gave this one a try. To much pressure and the nose feels like it's to thin, so just asking opinions of the selle italia series of flight, but like flight gel, or trans am gel etc. Thanks

  2. Yeah I just bought my 5.2 also and my butt seems to just sit on the front point of it. I also used to ride an anatomical (sp?) seat. The Bontrager seat is pretty bad in my opinion. I can't imagine what their full carbon seat feels like!!!

I can't speak for the Flight or Trans Am but I did buy a Selle Italia gel seat, the SLR Gel Flow. For me, it was the worst seat on the planet.

I've read that some magazines claim that cut outs can sometimes be much worse then no cut outs. I also know that lots of padding can be worse then no padding. I've had a lot more success with Fizik.
