  1. Well, time to eat some crow. I thought we would have four rides, but it
turned out to be just two.

Ride #3 turned out to be just too technical for us. The rock gardens
were too big with too much of a descent, and there were rock ledges and
broken rock that we just weren't a good match for. It made a nice hike
though. All the way along I thought about how cool it would be to
actually see riders that could handle this trail make their way along.
This was definitely a case of better safe than sorry.

Number 4 was not nearly as technical, though it had it's walking spots
for us. What had us hiking instead of biking was the continuous
transition from steep climbs to steep descents, one after another (which
kinda makes sense). Just walking the trail had us huffing and puffing.
Later on in the hike we came to an uphill ramp, the kind that skating XC
skiers use to ascend a really rough slope. Then there was another
section that was pretty much submerged. As this was a XC trail, and not
an old fire road, any riding would have really rutted the trail. I would
have been amazed just watching riders climb and descend on this trail.

Even though we couldn't ride these trails it was pretty neat trying to
pick the lines and imagining how those of you that can ride this stuff
    would have done so.

Next time I won't count my RR's until they are actually ridden. (Sorry
for keeping all of you waiting with such baited breath <grin>😉

    You got it!

The only problem is that my old RR's tended to lean on my slapstick
crashes for much of the content and entertainment value. With that kinda
stuff outlawed for me I gotta find new stuff, like unusual water
crossings, to bring some interest to my otherwise dreary/non-technical
    RR's.

Belly-deep water crossings are pretty cool. Be glad they are not in a
fast rushing Coldorado stream. Keep 'em coming, Rog. BTW, dreary in
this NG would be "expert" opinions from barneys, especially florida
    barneys.

    Nice RR,

The mind serves properly as a window glass rather
than as a reflector, that is, the mind should give
an immediate view instead of an interpretation of the world.
