Sunday morning ride at 830 am pull into dirt parking lot
spot 2 horse trailer. One small and the other semi size.
Okay they allway stay to the double track loop. I start out
down the double track to pickup a trailhead. What no horses
no horseshit. I pick a trailhead and ride for awhile
horseshit up ahead no big deal mud don't stay on these
Michelin Widegripper S green tires maybe horseshit won't
too. Sometime later after all that horeshit I check those
Silica green monsters and their clean green. I'm making my
way down the DH rock garden and out to some double track to
pickup some more singletrack. I turn left on to the DB and I
hear female voices and three horses all female riders
blocking the trail sideways. I slow down to 3 mph and keep
it there now the horses turn and open up the trail so I can
ride on and a voice says sorry about that have a nice ride.
I don't need to get killed by a horse or even knicked. I
guess they were like me out for a early ride. What happened
to the early bird gets the worm. Well this coming Saturday
morning since I have a weekend off I'll be there right after
sun up and may all I'll find is hard horseshit.
