I weighed myself since I was confident I was losing weight from the belt
needing another notch. I'm down nine pounds.
Initial loss includes water so stay realistic about this
type of progress. Don't let yourself think it's physically
possible to lose anywhere near tht much pure fat once you
run out of water. The fast initial loss is both
encouraging and tends to create unrealistic expectations.

glucose. This car almost clipped me during a race with another.

What does a car wreck have to do with actual dietary
needs? Nothing. Sure you had a big shock, no need to
use it as an excuse early in your plan.

Ketosis only has two levels. Not detectable with the
sticks, yes detectable with the sticks. You're positive
and that's fine, trace or darker. (Okay, there are
really other levels: not detectable with expensive
equipment, detectable with expensive equipment but not
the sticks, positive but not black on the sticks, black
on the sticks but not toxic, toxic black on the sticks.
it takes diabetic ketoacidocis to get to toxic).
Early on the sticks tend to show darker levels. Don't
let yourself think that what happens early is normal
for later. The natural sequence of events is the first
two weeks are an over-reaction by the body and the stuf
that happens is a temporary extreme. Around week 3 the
sticks head lighter and then stay there. This isn't a
problem. It's the body going from overreacting to the
real normal.
