  1. I am looking to get a watch which I can wear every day but with HRM
included. I am looking at Nike Triax C5. Anyone had any experience
with them?, or can offer me any advice? I'm just looking for very
    basic HRM features.

  2. I've gone through the three big HRM companies' models: Polar, Nike, and
Timex, and have settled with a Nike (C6). I've never had anything but
problems with Polar - and I've gone through several models. The Nike is
holding up very well so far, and can read the transmission from my Polar
chest strap. I found the Nike strap to be very uncomfortable (but I'm a
120lb woman, so it may be a bit different for you.) Scrolling through menus
in a Nike watch is far easier than for Polar.

On the other hand, take a look at some of the basic Timex HRM models out
there. The one I had was outstanding. A Timex watch may be less expensive
and smaller than Nike if you want just the basic HRM. The disadvantage is
that Timex has notoriously bad chest straps.

    Hope that helps,
    Helen

    Thanks the tips Helen
I finished up with a cheap Timex. Cheaper thank the Nike and I liked
the look of the watch better and all I wanted was basic HRM.
