looking for a nice B&B pub preferably within easy walking distance of
Keswick . I have done a search on the net but not found anything suitable.
I am willing to try a different area if I can be suitably convinced . come
on fellow Lakers hit me with your recommendations.

don't know about Keswick itself, but we thoroughly recommend the Coledale
Inn in Braithwaite [about 2 miles away]. Good food & beer too.Phil

Try this pub - it's at the foot of Blencathra on the A66 into Keswick.

Yes, can recommend this one in Threlkeld, also the one across the road - The
Salutation.I think the food is better in the 'Sally' though.
