making funny noises. Not the usual clicking noise in gear 6/7, but a more worrying squeeking
noise in gear 5. It squeeks as if the hub was lacking of oil... which is quite weird for a one
month old part supposed to be low maintenance...
Any suggestion / similar experience ?
Take it back to the dealer. Shimano is very good about warranty coverage for these.

I have about a 3 month old nexus-7 with a similar story: Squeaks developed in gears 3-7. If the bike
was not ridden the squeaks go away, but they returned with frequent riding, eg: on the second half
of my home commute. I dropped itoff at my LBS (when I went on vacation). I demonstrated it to them
when I dropped it off, but by the time they got to it the squeak was gone again, so they "adjusted"
it, and gave it back to me.
After 3 weeks of vacation, and one week of riding, (40 min/day commute), the squeak has not
returned, but I'm not convinced it's fixed, maybe just hibernating.
Is there any likely fix for this short of dis-assembly and re-lubrication?
BTW: Other than this, I'm enjoying the casual attitude of bike it is on, a Bianchi Milano. I notice
that this year's model is even sensible enough to include fenders and a kickstand.
