You cannot post pictures anywhere on uk.* but you would be welcome to
post links.

There is newsgroups for Photography, uk.rec.photo.misc is available but
doesn't get much traffic on the other hand rec.photo.* have plenty of
people though digital is getting severely trolled at the moment.

As to posting shots, unless it's in a binary group that's a big no no.
Forums such as DPreview, FredMiranda and a few others offer great advice
on how to improve your photography, but as with any new forum the best
advice is to lurk and find the FAQs.

Best solution is use your webspace and post the URLs to the links.

Enjoy Usenet, ignore the Trolls and the plonkers. Learn to killfile and
prioritise messages by watching keywords and your enjoyment will go up
even further.
