Hello,
I am 18 years old and i live in Pittsburgh, PA. I have been into road cycling for a number of years now. I have done the 60 mile charity tours around town and what have you. However, i am VERY interested in getting more serious about biking. I would like to race next year. However, i have no idea where to go or how to get started?? I have looked online but have come up empty handed, can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks guys

Btw, if you do a search of these forums, you'll find plenty of threads that deal with this topic.
i am willing to spend a good amount, my dad builds custom bikes so as far as parts and what not goes chances are we have it in the basement. Ive done some searching but any topics i find all tell the person to search
Not sure how it works in the states but you should try your national association or local clubs.
