    Hi, Sorry: I'm a newbie.

    In short, does anyone know if:

    Shimano M324 Combination Pedal wiggle.co.ukproduct detail.asp

    would work with a shoe like:

    Shimano MP60 Shoe wiggle.co.ukproduct detail.asp

    and would I have to buy cleats (probably SM-SH55) to go with them?

    I mainly go day cycling with lots of stopping and looking about. And a 5 minute ride to work in
    normal shoes.

    I've never used anything other than platform pedals.

    Any advice gratefully recieved,

    Yes, any SPD-compatible shoe will work with those pedals.

    The pedals should come with cleats.

    New to cleats, Owen? You need a shop to show you how to mount and tighten the cleat on the shoe. And
    the new tension is generally way too tight.

    And disregard if you know this already.
