  1. Hello Everyone!

Newbie here just joining the cycling realm! I'm excited, considering that it will be great for my health and physical appearance! I have a standard mtn bike, but would like something a little bit lighter. I'm a college student so there goes the $1000 budget for a bike. I was at wally world (wal-mart😄 ) the other day and stumbled upon a dirt cheap road bike. I just want to know if it will be worth the price for this. Give me your expert opinions:

    walmart.comproduct.do

I like the sleek design! What am I suppose to look for when buying a cheaper priced bike? Thank you.

Looks pretty sharp for $147.00, but it's heavy, 29 lbs, peppered with inferior components made of weak heavy material. You may want to consider a good used bike at your local LBS. The mechanics usually do some refurbishing: clean, lube, new handlebar tape, tires, sometimes new cables...something to consider. Good Luck!!

  4. GMC Stands for Get More Cash!

Peep your area Craigslist and search road bikes or go to a serious cycling store and get a used machine. You'll outgrow this thing quickly and frustate yourself and [censored] your progress.
