  1. I had a great year for weightloss in '04. But sometime in October, I kind of
gave up. Well, not "gave up" but stopped trying as hard. I'd eat a few things
that weren't great, or too much of borderline stuff. Nothing horrible, just a
lack of effort. Same with the gym, I'd go, but never really upped my intensity,
slid down to 3X a week or so, etc. I have maintained (even with a 17lb gain and
loss from taking steroids when I was sick last month) and am glad that I've
figured out how to do that. I'd go up and down the same 5 pounds, but have had
no problem staying at the same basic weight. I lost over 100 pounds in 2004,
now for 2005, I need to lose 20. I CAN do this, I WILL do this, and my 2006
resolution will be to keep maintaining. Good luck to everybody else in this new
    year!
