  1. I received a large non stick electric wok for xmas. I've already tried it out once, it gets a good
even heat nice and quickly. Does a lovely job of browning chicken too, so much better than the old
pan i used to use. Now i'm just wondering if anyone has any favorite Wok recipes? Along the line of
main dishes and meals, i already have some wonderful appetizer recipes i want to try. Or are there
any cookbooks out there that you would recommend? Thanks folks!

This site has some electric wok recipes. I personally would look at a large used book store for a
book from the 70's or whenever electric woks suddenly appeared everywhere. Since home "chinese
restaurant" style wok cooking is not easily done, I'd stick to things designed for your appliance.
That said, I don't own an electric wok, but I hope no one jumps on you. I've had some decent sautees
from them, often from people for whom cooking was a new thing (e.g. the lonely recently divorced
    male). blacksalt
