  1. Hello everyone,

My name is Ryan, and a friend and I have decided to take up unicycling
when college starts up again this fall. I'm looking for some advice on
a first unicycle to buy. The idea is for us to share a starter to learn
on, and then for us each to get one of our own once we've gotten past
    falling down all the time.

I am a pretty big guy - 6'2", 240 lbs., and my friend is (rough
    estimate) 5'10", 140 lbs.

I would appreciate any advice on what brand, model, size, etc. we should
get. It doesn't need to be anything fancy, but it would be nice if it
held up long enough for us to know what we're doing and what we'd be
looking for when upgrade. The less expensive, the better, of course -
we are college students, after all.

Thanks a lot for your help, and I look forward to being "one of those
    crazy unicyclists."

  2. I went with a Torker LX 24". You're both pretty tall, might as well
roll on a 24. It probably would be a good choice for you too. They're
    around $100 too.
