  1. I bought some GP4000 tyres on ebay and they are good, nut they are SOOOOO
tight! I had to use a lever to get the tyres on, which led to the
    inevitable tube pinch (both tyres).

The second time around wasn't as bad (they seem to be inflated).

My nylon tyre levers couldn't do the job at all - they just bent! I had to
use aluminium ones which did leave scars, but they did the trick. They
don't fit the saddle bag though so I am a bit concerned that on the road I
will be stranded if I have to rely on the nylon ones. Does this tightness
    diminish over time?

It's a shame that my track pump also gave out at the same time - it won't
hold 120 PSI without blowing off. It's only a year old; is that how long
they last before replacement? (Used it perhaps 5x week for the last year).

Its a BBB and I notice that it is possible to access the rubber bit - can
that be replaced rather than the whole setup?

Once again my sincere thanks in advance for any advice.
    CN
