Got the back wheel back today, put a new innertube in, bang!! Could
have sworn the tyre was good and clean of spikes, and the tube wasn't
pinched. Shouldn't have bought it from H*l*o*ds! Get new tube from
LBS, fit, fit new M520 SPD pedals, ride off up the road.
Apart from a few niggles it felt really good and a hell of a lot more
responsive than my tourer. It also didn't feel as harsh as I'd
expected with an ali frame and 23mm tyres. I'd a nagging thought that
"I'm not going to like this at all" but I've done a few miles and I
think I'll keep it ;o)
Need to get a longer seat post, about 60mm too short as is, and adjust
the left brifter so it stays where I want it. Should be up to about
100 quid all in so far. Not bad, I reckon.
