  1. I just got my 2.4SL. way cool! My coach recomended cycling peaks software, so thats what I 'd like to get. When i go to their site there is WKO+,ERG+,CRS+, and Real3D. I can buy one or all, just a matter of money.

I want to dump my rides onto the computer, look at the ride and send it to my coach. I spend a lot of time on the MTB so, much of my training is not power based. But I will do all my timed intervals on the road bike with the PT. I'd like to look at my interval performance, and my road bike ride performance, but not necessarily track all of my riding. Should I just get the WKO+? Or am I really missing out on the other choices?

    Thank You, Perry

Yeah for what you want to do, wko+ is enough.

Thanx, I am not so good at software, definitely the less I have to know (and learn), the better!

Agree, or download with the PT software and e-mail the files to the coach for viewing and analysis. Not that I'd ever give up my WKO+, but if I considered myself 'not too good with software' then I think letting someone else do it might save a bit of frustration and confusion.

  5. Alright, I bought WKO+ and got it loaded and managed to get my first file downloaded! Took me most the night before I discovered I did not have the PT CPU fully snapped into the cradle.. that is so me! I figured it was softaware, configuration, blah etc.. but nope, once I snapped the CPU in correctly, it worked great! Figured out how to drop the workout into the calendar and all looks good. Pretty sweet! Now just need to get some miles in and do some tests... oh joy 🙄
