    Evening all!

    I'm completely new to biking, and have decided along with a friend to cycle from Birmingham (UK) to the South West of France, approximately 550 miles from door to door. Currently looking at purchasing myself a second hand road bike, budgets around £600 and am just wondering if anyone has any realistic reccommendations? Any help would be grea! Cheers, Jsh
