I just installed my first set of Speedplay Zero's and went for a ride - after which I noticed one pedal had oozed a bunch (maybe a tablespoon) of grease out around the pedal axle.
It seems to spin as well as the other one and isn't loose - and the o-ring appears to be intact. Should I be concerned or is this normal for these?

Not unusual but there isn't a tablespoon of grease in the pedal. If concerned get a torx wrench(T-15 I think, but I'm at home), take the end cap off, take the torx screw out, pedal body off, grease 'em up, reinstall parts..easy and the way you ought to OVH these periodically.
