Can't go wrong with Mavic rims (519 or the new 719) laced to whatever hub is in your budget.

The key factor for wheel durability is to have the wheel built by someone that knows what they're doing.

Shimano XT or XTR hub, DT or Sapim DB Spokes built 3X on 32 spoke rim like Mavic XM719 or F519.
Check with your local wheel builder.

Kinda live in a country, where though they founded the Shimano country am still hillbillys regarding MTB's... Went to five stores who all deny changing a deraillur and rather want to sell me a cheap noname MTB instead ...

Thx for the advice, as I know what to ask for, they cant run corners with me 😉 and for sure, not get me to buy a crappy substitute bike
