  1. "CHECK IT OUT: Barilla introduces multigrain pastas
    April 5, 2005
    Special pasta
Another new pasta boasting good-for-you claims is now on store shelves. The
makers of Barilla pastas introduced the Barilla Plus line of pastas made
from multigrains and legumes. The company says the pasta is a good source of
protein, fiber and omega-3 fatty acids. One serving of Barilla Plus has 15
percent of the daily recommended intake of fatty acid through ground
flaxseeds, and it has 4 grams of fiber per serving coming from a blend of
grains that include semolina, oats, spelt and also ground flaxseeds, lentils
    and chickpeas. A one-pound box is $1.79."

Still pretty high in carbs though, nutrition info:
    Serving size 2 oz
    Calories, 100
    Fat 1 g
    Carbs 38
    less Fiber 4 g
    Protein 10 g

Been quite a while since I ate pasta, but I'm pretty sure that 2 oz ain't
gonna do it. And 38g carbs in that little portion? I don't think so!

  3. Pasta is not low carb.
