  1. I thought the good folks of r.b.m. would like to see my new bikes - the
replacement for the dog-magnet and the new (old) singlespeed.

What is now the singlespeed was a trash-heap rescue. The gold Schwinn
was built to replace the dog-magnet, the bike destroyed in a collision
with a dog. These two bikes are now vying for the place as the primary
commuting rig. We shall see how it works out over the next few months.
But the singlespeed is in my office today.

It's funny - my two most expensive bikes are now in various states of
disassembly in my basement. My two cheapest bikes are serving as my
    primary rides.

No leash laws in your jurisdiction?

Nope. It occurred in the county. There are plenty of laws regarding
livestock, but none regarding leashes on dogs.

The court fees exceeded the value of the bike, but I think the
insurance company is going after the owner for the medical bills. I
wish them luck. The owner has three generations all living in one
mobile home. Such is life in south Arkansas.
